youturn provides services in English and French to high-risk youth aged 12-24 and their families living in Ottawa and the counties of Stormont-Dundas and Glengarry (SD&G), Renfrew, Prescott-Russell and are involved or at risk of becoming involved in the justice system.
"I have to say working with my worker was amazing. She's the best and she'd be the first person I'd turn to if I ever need help again"
"I used to do nothing; this program helped me get more involved in activities in the community"
"I like it here because I don't have to think about all the other stuff. This place is where I come for me. This is the best that I have ever done in my life. I am in school. I am clean and I got a job."
"I was involved with Youturn for about 2 years and I would not be where I am today without their services. When I first started with Youturn I was hanging out with bad people, using drugs, not going to school and since getting connected I wanted to surround myself with positive people and to have a positive outcome for myself. I did not get a lot of support at home, my mom expected me to drop out but when I met my Youturn worker they believed I could graduate and I did!"
Thank you for your interest in supporting youturn Youth Support Services. Supporting at-risk youth is a community effort and we could not provide the level of support we do without your help.
