Mission & Vision
Vision
Youturn believes that all youth should have the opportunity to succeed.
Mission
To provide evidence-informed, individualized, and culturally responsive services that support youth with complex needs, their families and caregivers in building the skills to thrive within their community.
Mandate
Youturn empowers youth ages 12-24, their families and caregivers in Ottawa and the counties of Stormont, Dundas and Glengarry (SD&G), Renfrew County, and Prescott-Russell through flexible, evidence-informed services in English and French. We address challenges related to poverty, violence, mental health, and involvement in the justice system. Using a strength-based, trauma-informed approach, we collaborate with youth, families/caregivers and community partners to foster resilience and long-term success by equipping youth with the tools to achieve stability, independence, and meaningful community engagement.
